About every week grandma would use a hoe or her hands and pull away any weeds that were growing close to the beans or any other vegetable plant. If rain didn't come she would draw water from her well and water the plants. I still remember how big that garden was from a few bunch of seeds. I still remember those summer and late fall dinners she would place on the table that came from the garden. She didn't need to use her meager Social Security money for the food on that table but instead, served the meal with a smile.

You know the job is being done right because you will be doing it yourself. DIY is always better than letter someone else tamper with your car. Once you know, what has to be done, you will be able to get the right auto parts and do the jobs right yourself.

Well that was life in a nutshell as an adolescent. By the time I had reached my junior year in college I had gained a whopping 75 pounds. I had the luxury of attending school in knoxville, Tennessee-a beautiful city in the foothills of the Smokies where the sun shone over 300 days a year. Since the campus was so hilly and the classes were so far away, it was not uncommon to walk over 3+ miles a day. Yet I kept gaining weight. Having been forewarned about the Freshman 15, I took great pride in eating well and avoiding junk food. I even watched my portion sizes and counted the dreaded, miserable calories. Yet I gained more weight.

Figure out which one you're better at and see if you can grab the rim. If you can grab the rim, then you know you aren't very far from dunking. If you can't grab the rim then you have some work to do.

It was such a simple plan; in fact, it seemed foolproof. Unfortunately, things don't always go the way we think they should. There are always many variables in any given situation that are ready to cause trouble and delays.
